International revenues from exported persimmons decreased by an average -4.3% since 2018 when globally exported persimmons generated cashflow of $549.4 million.
Year over year, the overall dollar value of persimmon exports shrank by -15.6% compared to $622.9 million in 2021.

Turning to persimmon imports, the 5 leading importers of persimmons in 2022 were the Russian Federation, Vietnam, Germany, France and Italy. Combined, that quintet of top buyers bought three-fifths (60.1% of globally imported persimmons).
Those percentages suggest a more concentrated cohort of 71 total of exporters of persimmons (83.2% for top 5 suppliers) compared to 139 importing countries, islands and territories for the top 5 importers (60.1%).
Nevertheless, over two-thirds (68.1%) of globally imported persimmons wasdelivered to European countries well ahead of importers in Asia (26.9%), North America (3.5%), Africa (0.8%), Oceania (0.4%) mostly buyers in Australia, then Latin America (0.3%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean.
