Oeuvre de Jacques-Emile BLANCHE (1861, Paris - 1942, Offranville) vers 1910 Huile sur toile Don de Mme F. Langweil en 1920 Strasbourg, musée d'art moderne et contemporain de la ville de Strasbourg.

L'oeuvre a été choisie par les commissaires pour donner un exemple des salons dans lesquels les artistes se produisaient et qui figurent dans "la Recherche", notamment dans le récit autour de la "sonate de Vinteuil".
